First travel regatta. J24 Western Regionals in Seattle, WA. 1999. 14th out of 28. Big lesson in rig tune. Light air, and too tight, 26th in the 1st race. Loosened up the rig and went way outside for more pressure to squeek out the bullet in the next race. http://www.cycseattle.org/1999_specific/J-fest.html. Solid 1st year, including the Fleet27 Championship.

Pre-cursor to the Soup. Tasar2296 - "Swirly Mode", "Suffern' Succatash", and finishing up with "Fat Boys need Big Air" at the 1996 Tasar World Championships in the Columbia River Gorge. 46th out of 75 boats, not too shabby. http://www.tasar.org/results/1996/1996-world.html
