First travel regatta. J24 Western Regionals in Seattle, WA. 1999. 14th out of 28. Big lesson in rig tune. Light air, and too tight, 26th in the 1st race. Free Bowl of Soup (formerly Da Treader, formerly Dawn Treader) pickup in San Francisco on New Year's Day 1999. New name decided at the New Year's Eve party at the Thums the night before. Left at 4am, spent the night with the previous owner, and started off again the next day.
